Yes, had to ask if there any Pa Motorcycle Safety Course Experience Requirements, since I had no experience riding motorcycles.
I want to ride motorcycles, but I have no actual motorcycle driving experience, and wondered if I could take a safety motorcycle class with no experience.
So I contacted the school and asked if there were any Pa motorcycle safety course experience requirements.
Can I Take A Motorcycle Safety Class With No Experience?
The short answer, YES! After reading over Total Control Training’s (website), I found the Basic Rider Clinic class. This class, upon completion, is the class that also counts as a Pennsylvania Motorcycle Road test and allows for a Learner’s permit holder to get their license.
On their Basic Rider Clinic class description, it says “is designed for the novice rider with no (or limited) street-riding experience.” I was unsure about how accurate this was and wrote the company, and their reply was, “The one thing that is necessary is that you know how to ride and balance on a bicycle.”
I can do that! Been riding regular bikes for years, so this all sounds very promising.
Again, simple put to take a Motorcycle Safety Class, No experience is necessary. And I plan to test this out.
Pa Motorcycle Safety Course Experience Requirements By Registering.
Good news!!!! Although I had problems with their website registration process, I emailed my information to the company, and they registered me for a class! Now I will really test their claim that they designed the class for people with little/no street-riding experience. Be sure to follow up on the outcome. Very happy I actually found a Motorcycle Safety Class near me, and got in. Patience pays off. I want to ride motorcycles and better yet, be a safe rider. Will keep you all informed of my experiences.
Your States Motorcycle Safety Course Experiences?
As you can tell my Pa Motorcycle Safety Course experience requirements are a little light. I am curious about what motorcycle safety courses you took and what their recommended rider experience level was.
Did you have to have time to ride a motorcycle? Please leave a comment.
Hi I’m Tom, A New Motorcycle Rider and Blog Author.
I am a new motorcycle rider(Pa Motorcycle Learner’s Permit at the end of 2020, and I received a full M-Class Pa Motorcycle License in 2021, only after passing the Pa Motorcycle Safety Course).
I bought my first motorcycle, a TaoTao TBR7 (A Chinese Dual-sport motorcycle), at the beginning of 2021 and have been doing upgrades on that motorcycle since.
I added to my motorcycle collection by buying a Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle in 2022, and that little Grom-Clone bike has been upgraded by me as well.
I continue to ride my Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle as well as my TaoTao TBR7 dual-sport bike.

Fun Fact: I’ve only been on one group ride.
